I am a Certified Nurse Midwife, Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Certified Childbirth Educator. I am NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certified. I am a Mother to two amazing kids, and I work as a Nurse-Midwife in a private practice in San Jose. When I had my first baby, I did all of the research about childbirth. I took classes, read books, and felt completely prepared. I thought breastfeeding would be the easy part. Through my struggles, I realized I had no idea what to expect with breastfeeding. As I navigated the breastfeeding world, I was astonished by the lack of knowledge and support. I earned my IBCLC and launched my private practice in 2019. I have experience providing care in and out of the hospital and I believe families deserve support that meets them where they are. Breastfeeding can be incredibly emotional, and I respect that infant feeding looks different for everyone. I aim to empower families in a non-judgmental setting to meet their feeding goals. It may not always be easy, but I can support you along your journey.
