You are not alone



With World Maternal Mental Health Day we are reminded that 1 in 5 women experience some type of perinatal mood and anxiety disorder and it is estimated that 7 in 10 women hide or downplay their symptoms.

We spend a lot of time together over the course of your pregnancy. During postpartum we visit with each other over the course of six weeks. You become part of my family.

I will always be a safe place for you to tell me how you are really feeling. You are not alone, and I’m here to help you see that you will not always feel that way.

Ask your new mom friends how they are really doing. Listen to them. Validate them. Do not let them suffer in silence. 🤎
