There really is no "bad" position for laboring

It’s true - you just can’t do it wrong πŸ’πŸΌ‍♀️

Frequent changing of #laborpositions helps that pelvic space keep shifting which is necessary for the baby to find their way down and out πŸ‘ΆπŸ½πŸ§šπŸΌ‍♀️

Babies are actively working to be #born and when the pelvis is stagnant, it limits how the baby is supported in their decent and possible rotation.

Whether #birth is happening with an #epidural or not, movement of the pelvic space must occur to minimize unnecessary intervention and encourage #labor progress. So apply the #blossomingbellies543rule to all labors to support subtle movement as well as dramatic movement. 🌈✨🌈
