April 26, 2025 is the date for our Spring Annual UDA Conference. CEU's will be available. The conference will take place in Sandy, UT from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
8:30am — Welcome + Intros
9am — 1st speaker: Dr. Brett Einerson (Dr. Brett Einerson will be discussing the data regarding the study he’s running for out of hospital induction using the balloon catheter.)

10:10am — 2nd speaker: Dr. Martha Monson (Dr. Martha Monson will discuss the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center at Primary Children’s Hospital and what types of patients are seen/treated there, and what surgeries are offered.)

11:20am — 3rd Speaker: Angie Rosier (Angie Rosier will discuss the impacts of doulas and look at 15+ years of retroactive data showing us what people found favorable and unfavorable regarding their birthing experience, and how doulas can make a positive impact in the future.)

1:30pm — 4th Speaker: Bernice Tenort (Bernice Tenort will discuss burnout for those providing care within medical settings and how it can be avoided.)

2:40pm — 5th Speaker: Ashley Brichter (Ashley Brichter will discuss how birth and postpartum doulas and childbirth educators can help clients leverage the “Fair Play” system to overcome self-limiting beliefs, improve communication skills in their relationships, move out of “burnout,” and radically show up for themselves and their families during the sensitive postpartum period.)

3:50pm — 6th Speaker: Debbie Gordon (Debbie Gordon will discuss prodromal labor, how to assess if symptoms are prodromal vs. early labor vs. Braxton Hicks and how to assess labor based on pelvic station vs. dilation only.)
