Bringing home a newborn is a beautiful experience, but it also comes with a host of challenges and questions. That's where a postpartum doula steps in. They provide invaluable assistance and resources to help families navigate this transitional period with ease. Whether it's supporting mom's physical recovery, guiding parents through postpartum emotions, or assisting with newborn care, doulas offer a wealth of support for the entire family.
ICEA Certified Postpartum Doulas are highly trained professionals who cater to the diverse needs of modern families. Our ICEA-approved workshops provide the necessary training for certification and more details will be provided on next steps during the course.
If you have a heart and passion for working with new families, consider becoming a certified Postpartum Doula. Here’s what you can expect:
Understanding the role of the Postpartum Doula
How to cater to the diverse needs of modern families
Learning knowledge and skills necessary in being a Postpartum Doula, such as topics as:
Mother's physical recovery
Emotions and Mental Health for both Mom and Dad
Newborn appearance and care
Breastfeeding and alternative feeding methods
Developing strong communication and listening skills
Learning essential business aspects and responsibilities
Insight into ICEA history and the certification process
Strategies for maintaining passion and replenishing the doula spirit
DATES: April 12-14th (all three days)
Friday and Saturday, April 12 & 13th from 8:15 am to 6 pm
Sunday, April 14th from 1 to 5 pm.
Early bird pricing to March 22nd $750.00 | Standard pricing from March 23 to April 5th $900.00 | Late comer pricing to April 11th $1000.00
We understand that finances can be a concern, so please reach out if you need a payment plan.
Additionally, our cancellation policy allows for refunds (excluding a $100 admin fee) until March 29th.
