When I was 13 years old, I had a severe neck injury. I dove off of a boat to catch a football and landed on my head on the lake bottom. Temporary paralysis while underwater almost took my life that day. My dad jumped out of the boat and saved my life, or I would not be here. I went and saw a chiropractor, and following my first treatment, I knew that is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I know that I did not choose chiropractic, but rather chiropractic chose me, and I enjoy paying that gift forward to my patients. I have a focus on pediatrics, because I believe that kids are under-appreciated, overlooked and can, at times, be overmedicated. My youngest patient is my son, Mac, as he was eight minutes old when he got his first adjustment. I treat infants as young as hours/days old, and my current oldest patient is 94. My family practice includes patients of all different types of professions, sports backgrounds, and conditions. Getting people well is very fulfilling, however, the best part of my job is treating kids, specifically those with special needs. Nothing levitates me like that does. The younger we can get a patient, the better chance we have at preventing certain things and can provide an optimal chance at a healthy life!
