Hi there! My name is Vanessa. I am the owner of Nurture Her Doula. I’m a mother to 2 beautiful children & have been married to my supportive husband for 13 years. My son is 10 & my daughter 7. I have worked with new mothers & newborns since 2009, mainly in a hospital setting. I have a nursing background and worked as a nurse in the postpartum department where my love for the birth world first developed. I truly have a passion for helping & serving others. I believe the post partum/ 4th trimester stage is a crucial one that should be focused on healing, resting, bonding, nourishing, and fully embracing & enjoying those first precious moments with your new bundle of joy. My mission is to support & nurture new mothers so they can feel a weight lifted off as they savor this challenging, but rewarding time with their newborn and family.
