Teresa Peters

Teresa holds a B.S. in Maternal Child Health and Human Lactation from Union Institute and University. Her career began with the births of her four children when she devoured information about pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding and was inspired to empower others embarking on their parenting journey. Prior to founding PBC, she spent 25 years teaching, consulting, and coordinating the Breastfeeding Center and Perinatal Health Education department at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. As a dedicated member of the Pasadena community, she is a lifelong advocate of informed decision-making for birth and breastfeeding families.
