Hello, my name is Dasha and I am the founder of Seattle Birth Co. My doula practice was born out of a deep commitment to improve the care provided to birthing people and their families. I have spent over a decade passionately immersed in birth work, starting as a unit coordinator at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland,WA. Over time, I transitioned into private Birth Doula practice, supporting families through Positive Hospital Births, VBACs, High-Risk Pregnancies & Deliveries, VBACs, Unmedicated Births, Homebirths, and Birth Centers. The call to be a Doula and holding the space in a family's intimate birth journey is a privilege I hold dearly. I am passionate about a physiological and holistic approach to Birth. This means honoring the natural process of childbirth while supporting the body’s innate ability to birth without unnecessary interventions. My focus is on creating a nurturing environment that promotes safety, wellness, emotional well-being, and physical support, allowing each mother to feel secure and aligned with their body’s natural rhythms. I customize my support uniquely to each family I serve. I have served and held space in hundreds of births, with each one being beautiful, unique and challenging in its own way. Every Birth I attend grows me as a Doula and Childbirth Educator, and fuels my desire to partner with families and fellow birth workers to build better birth experiences. Birth does not happen often in life, and you deserve to be informed about your choices, empowered and supported in your decisions.
