Erica Heinze

I began my journey into the world of breastfeeding help with the birth of my first son in 2004. As a military spouse moving across the country, I found my people at the local chapter of La Leche League. I was accredited as a La Leche League Leader in 2006 where my love of helping parents find their new normal was born. Many years and 2 additional children later I certified as an IBCLC in 2019. I hold an M.A. in Education from New Mexico State University and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Utah. A love of learning keeps me engaged with continuing education and homeschooling my children. When not buried in books or watching webinars you can find me at one of Utah’s local ice rinks which my family calls home during hockey season.
