I am a devoted birth doula who is passionate about supporting women in having the birth of their dreams. I believe birth should be empowering, beautiful, and joyful for everyone involved and feel strongly that women have the right to feel safe and loved throughout their labor. My journey as a birth worker began when I was pregnant with my first baby. As I learned about birth and maternity care in the US, a flame sparked within me. After a beautiful home birth, I developed a deep desire for every woman to have a safe, peaceful, positive birth. I have a deep trust in each mother's intuition and I am committed to honoring, supporting, and advocating for their birth preferences. While I am open to accepting any client, I thrive when supporting first-time mothers having hospital births, whether medicated or unmedicated. I am DONA-trained, have my CNA, and am also a skilled harpist and offer my talents as a therapeutic musician.
A 45-minute session which combines the use of acupressure, herbs, essential oils, and visualization to stimulate the onset of labor after 38 weeks gestation.
Two prenatal appointments including training for a female birth companion (friend, sister, mother, etc) to support the laboring woman as "lay-doula," as well as access to my resource library.
Includes two prenatal appointments, full in-person support throughout labor and for 1-2 hours postpartum, and a postpartum appointment.
