Lisy Peters

Hi! My name is Lisy. I have been a registered nurse (RN) since 1983. Most of my career has been spent caring for premature and special-needs infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). During this time, I understood the invaluable benefits of mother’s milk for these special babies and I thoroughly enjoyed helping mothers breastfeed. Over time, I developed a passion for breastfeeding and pursued my certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2000.
