Hi, I’m Kimberly! I am glad you found me. I have high hopes that together we can make breastfeeding a joyful experience! Now a little about me. My life passion has been motherhood and working with new moms along their motherhood journey. My passion was instilled within me as a young girl who’s father was an obstetrician. I would wait for the call and beg to go! It was awe inspiring every time I witnessed a baby being born. I earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northern Arizona University. I currently have an Arizona State Board of Nursing license. I am DONA birth doula certified and am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I work for Dignity Health as a Breastfeeding Educator and Support Group mentor. My love of children is reflected in my family, where my husband and I have raised four children. My first and only daughter was delivered by my father. The second and third deliveries fell under hospital induction and epidural protocols, but for my last baby, I was determined to have a home water birth. What an amazing experience! After feeling the exhilaration and power that came from having a natural birth, I realized the importance of educating, empowering, and advocating for self and women alike. As a lactation consultant, I believe breastfeeding can be an incredible gift for both mom and baby health and connections. At this stage in my profession, my dream is to educate, empower, and serve as an advocate for mothers and their babies. My hobbies include being with my family, learning, singing, playing the piano, cooking, walking, and being outdoors.
