I became passionate about birth work after mine and my sister's births. My sister had a micropreemie, and I had some trauma with one of mine. After seeing how moms have been treated and are not given enough knowledge beforehand, I wanted to make sure that every other mother that I came in contact with knew how to advocate for herself or have someone there to do that for her.
