Kara Mears

Kara Mears is a mother, stepmother, wife, Certified Nurse Midwife with a Master’s of Science in Midwifery from Thomas Jefferson University and the Baystate Midwifery Education Program, and a Certified Pre/Postnatal Yoga Instructor and Educator. She also holds a B.A. in Photojournalism and Magazine Writing from Emerson College. Kara lives on the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts, with her husband, daughter, stepdaughters, dog, two cats, and many Dutch bunnies. When she’s not teaching, Kara loves impromptu dance parties anywhere, walks in the woods with her family, and year-round ocean dips with her friends The Sea Hags.
