Danielle Spradlin

Danielle started Oasis Lactation Services in 2011 in response to her community’s need for holistic and nuanced lactation care. Standard breastfeeding recommendations leave many parents confused and unsupported. Her goal has always been to empower parents to advocate for their informed choices by validating the science, cultural traditions, and personal values that brought them to those choices. Oasis Lactation Services relocated from Atlanta to Minneapolis in 2018. OLS has served breastfeeding families via telehealth on every continent except Antarctica (penguins aren’t mammals). Danielle holds additional certifications in nutrition, oral motor assessment, rhythmic movement training, wilderness first aid, and is currently completing an MS in herbal medicine. She has one wonderful spouse, two feral children, and a variable number of foster kittens.
