BORN Collective was founded by Cherie Lockwood, Maya de Paula Hanika, and Brooke Patmor in 2019. We are dedicated to offering inclusive care and centering the experience of LGBTQ+ families and people. We welcome people of all identities and family structures and recognize the added challenges of navigating the birth and postpartum world as someone with marginalized identities. We love supporting our clients throughout the childbearing year and offer unique opportunities for community building within our services. We believe that new parents thrive in collective, with loving witness, and that networks of support are what make this experience possible and what is missing from the mainstream model of care.
Prenatal support including private and group sessions, birth planning, ongoing virtual support, on-call labor support and one postpartum visit.
Postpartum day and night services. Includes overnight infant care, daytime in home support with recovery, newborn care, meal prep, light housework, support with lactation, and emotional support.
Pick up and drop off of placenta/pills. Option to encapsulate raw or TCM method, prints, cord keepsakes etc as add on
