Beth Connors

Hi, I’m Beth Connors, a certified nurse midwife, childbirth educator, and the founder of Family Focused Midwifery. I specialize in family-centered home birth care, facilitate a collaborative doula collective, and provide comprehensive education designed to help families feel confident, informed, and deeply supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My passion for this work is rooted in both personal experience and clinical training. After experiencing a traumatic hospital birth where I didn’t fully understand my options or autonomy, I became deeply committed to creating a different kind of birth experience; one that is unhurried, informed, and centered on the family’s values. That journey led me to home birth midwifery, where individualized care, trust, and physiologic birth can truly be honored. What I love most about being a birth worker is building a continuum of support for families. Through home birth midwifery, a carefully curated doula collective, childbirth education, and my podcast, Your Birth Bestie, I aim to normalize empowered decision-making and help families feel prepared—not just for labor, but for parenthood. Supporting families as they reclaim confidence, autonomy, and trust in their bodies is the most meaningful work I can imagine.
