Sarah Kwan

Sarah Kwan is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and has been in private practice since August 2021 providing lactation care to breast/chestfeeding families. She spent two years training with two of Chicago’s top lactation consultants with JOC Lactation. Sarah has a BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood. She started her career as a lead infant teacher at a sought after childcare center in Lakeview. In that role she supported many mothers in their breastfeeding journeys and discovered her passion for it. After some research Sarah learned there is a career built to do just that! While training to become an IBCLC Sarah became a mother herself, and despite her knowledge found that she still needed the help of her mentors to reach her breastfeeding goals. She is so grateful to have had the support of qualified IBCLC’s throughout her breast feeding journey. Sarah believes every breast/chestfeeding person deserves compassionate and evidence based lactation support. She is committed to providing that for every family she works with. In her free time Sarah loves spending time with her family, traveling, and getting lost in a good novel.
