Anthony Noya

Dr. Anthony Noya is a chiropractor serving patients in and around Washington, D.C. Dr. Noya is one of the few chiropractors in Washington DC Metro Area who is certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to care for pregnant women, infants, and children. He has also completed advanced training in bio-geometric integration, torque release technique and posture rehabilitation. Dr. Noya believes chiropractic care is essential to improving and maintaining whole body health and wellbeing. Dr. Noya is ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and Webster certified. The Webster technique facilitates the mother’s pelvic alignment and neurological function, balancing the mother’s pelvis and improving the baby’s presentation for birth. He has completed over 180 hours of additional specialized training in the treatment and care of pregnant women and children and is CACCP (Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics). This advanced training is rare, making Dr. Noya one of only a few chiropractors who has achieved this level of expertise in caring for pregnant women and children. Chiropractic adjustments restore natural function to the body and the discomforts of pregnancy are often resolved. Women who have nervous system dysfunction may be more prone to nausea and vomiting (morning sickness), fatigue or other problems during pregnancy. Optimum pelvic balance can reduce the risk of a breech birth, a birth in which the baby is born feet first.
