Alexis Jackson

Hello, welcome, and thank you for your interest in Your Family Tree Doula Services, LLC. I'm Alexis Jackson, born in Milwaukee, WI and raised in Little Rock, AR. I am a wife and mother of two teenage boys. I am a Certified Labor/Birth Doula, Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula, and board member of Arkansas' Board of Health Midwife Advisory Board. In 2017 I discovered doula work through a Google search and became very intrigued. The more I learned, the more I reflected on my own birth experiences. My 1st birth was an emergency c-section due to preeclampsia and my 2nd birth was a successful VBAC. I had two TOTALLY different pregnancies, births, and postpartum experiences. Since then, I have become a certified postpartum and infant care doula, certified labor/birth doula, started my own business, am currently a board member of the Midwife Advisory Board, and have also held a board seat with the non-profit Ujima Maternity Network, Inc.
